About the Role
This is a full-time on-site role for a Splunk Consultant in Columbia, MD. The Splunk Consultant will be responsible for working with clients to understand their business needs, implementing and configuring Splunk products, developing custom solutions, and providing Splunk expertise and support to clients. In this role, the Splunk Consultant will also collaborate with other teams internally and externally to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consulting Engineer, your role will be to provide professional services support for M1 Cyber customers with your primary focus on Splunk. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions for our federal and enterprise clients. Your expertise will help drive customer satisfaction, promote business growth, and solidify our reputation as a leader in the industry.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design and Implementation:
Architect and deploy Splunk solutions to meet client requirements.
Develop and implement Splunk infrastructure.
Operational Support:
Monitor and maintain Splunk environments to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk deployments.
Data Management:
Configure data inputs and manage data ingestion processes.
Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
Client Engagement:
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Splunk deployments and configurations.
Generate reports and provide insights based on Splunk data analysis.
Pre/post-sales Support:
Assist the sales team with technical presentations and demonstrations during the pre-sales process.
Provide post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Active Splunk Core Certified Consultant Certification
Active 8570 IAT Level 2 or 3 Certification
