About the Role
Mission First Cyber is seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President to establish and lead the Systems Integration Services Division, with a focus on cybersecurity for federal clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of systems integration, extensive experience in the federal space, and a track record of building a division from the ground up. This role requires a strategic leader who can develop and execute a comprehensive plan to deliver end-to-end cybersecurity solutions, grow revenue, and manage a dynamic team in a rapidly evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Division Strategy & Leadership:
Define and implement the strategic vision, goals, and operational plans for the Systems Integration Services Division.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth, ensuring the division is positioned as a leading provider of cybersecurity integration services to federal agencies.
Work closely with executive leadership to align the division’s goals with overall company objectives and federal compliance requirements.
Business Development & Growth:
Drive the development of new business opportunities with federal agencies, leveraging existing relationships and creating new partnerships.
Develop strategies to secure large-scale federal contracts and blanket purchase agreements (BPAs) in cybersecurity and systems integration.
Build relationships with key stakeholders, including federal agencies, systems integrators, and technology partners.
Service Offering Development:
Design, develop, and deliver a portfolio of systems integration services focused on cybersecurity, including architecture design, implementation, testing, and operational support.
Ensure the division stays ahead of industry trends and technological advancements in the cybersecurity space, providing cutting-edge solutions tailored to federal requirements.
Operational & Team Management:
Build and scale a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and technical experts from the ground up.
Establish best practices, processes, and workflows for delivering high-quality integration services on time and within budget.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with federal standards, contract deliverables, and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and CMMC.
Financial Management & Reporting:
Develop and manage the division’s budget, forecasting revenue growth and monitoring financial performance against established goals.
Provide regular reporting to the executive team on key performance indicators (KPIs), division performance, and future opportunities for expansion.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems integration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of leading and growing a systems integration business, preferably in a federally focused environment.
In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes, compliance frameworks, and cybersecurity standards.
Demonstrated experience building teams, establishing processes, and scaling a division from scratch.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
