President

John Trauth brings more than 35 years of success, driving revenue growth and operational excellence at large established technology companies such as Optiv, BEA, Oracle, IBM, QMS and Tektronix.

 

John currently serves as President at Fuse Solutions, LLC dba Mission First Cyber
(M1 Cyber). John developed the initial business plan and using that plan as the foundation for building out all aspects of M1 Cyber’s strategy, GTM, infrastructure, process, solution sets and OEM offerings. Since joining M1C in March, the company human capital resources have grown by 400% and we are expecting similar growth of revenue by end of CY2024.

 

While at Optiv, John developed their federal business plan, marketing strategy, services strategy, and partnership strategy. He also researched, developed, and began execution of an M&A strategy that ultimately yielded $100M in accretive value, increased their federal book of business by 10X, and secured a portfolio of IDIQ and Term contracts to enable successful execution of transactions and generate services revenue.

 

John founded Bricata, Inc. where he served as CEO. He successfully established and developed an industry recognized NTA/NDR technology company featured in studies by multiple market research firms. He secured multiply rounds of investment funding from various angels, and VC’s including, In-Q-Tel and Edison Partners. The company was sold to OpenText in 2021 as an augmentation to their NDR, MXDR and forensics offerings.  

 

John was Partner and served as President for Cybertap, Inc., an IT security company that offered big data analytics for network forensics. The company was acquired by IBM in 2014. The technology is offered today by IBM as “Forensics for QRadar”.

 

John also served as President for Merlin International, a federally focused VAR and Systems Integrator. He grew revenues from $8M to over $168M over a 9-year period. This growth resulted in numerous awards for the company, including being ranked and featured as #2 on Inc. 500 (2005) by Inc. magazine. John holds a B.S. in Finance and Business Economics from Miami University and was awarded the Evans Scholarship.
